Camp Kretinga

A few years after founding Resurrection Parish, the Lithuanian Franciscan Friars acquired a beautiful wooded property in Wasaga Beach, so that the youth of the parish could spend summers enjoying nature, learning about their Lithuanian heritage, and celebrating their Catholic faith. In 1984, the camp was named „Kretinga“, in honor of the centre of Franciscan influence in Lithuania. Today, „Kretinga“ remains true to the vision of its founders, drawing campers of Lithuanian descent from across North America for fun, friendship and learning.
